My 2012 Genealogy Resolutions

This year, I realized that I was exhibiting some habits that tended to be counterproductive to making any progress with my research.  So I've decided that in addition to my genealogy goals, I would also make some genealogy resolutions.
  1. I will not add a fact to RootsMagic without a source.
  2. I will not add a document to RootsMagic without first transcribing it.
  3. I will correspond with my living relatives more than once a year.
  4. I will not go an entire week without reading my blog subscriptions.
  5. I will add pending links to my Genealogy Toolbox once per month.
I don't want to overdo it, so we'll leave it at 5.  Five is a good number.  What are your New Years' Resolutions?

I resolve to finish my unfinished 2011 goals! (How's THAT for realistic?)

Good list, I totally agree with all, but, especially with your first. I have been doing that for years, one of the best things I EVER started and continued as far as my research goes.

Oof, this post reminded me that I need to get back to adding links and categories to my Genealogy Toolbox. Good luck with your goals!
